Mike P. Vespa
Mike Vespa has been practicing law since 2009 and has a wealth of experience arguing cases throughout the state of Illinois. His criminal experience ranges from defending traffic tickets to murder charges and his civil experience ranges from collections to divorce and child custody matters. He has handled civil and felony jury trials in both state and federal courts. In addition to Illinois trial courts, he has successfully argued before the Illinois Liquor Commission, Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission, Illinois Appellate Court, and the United States District Court. Outside of the courtroom, Mike is currently a councilman for city of Peoria, he has also served as Traffic Commissioner for the City of Peoria, as an elected precinct committeeman, and on the board of directors for the Twin Towers Condominium Association. In his free time, Mike likes watching his Chicago White Sox and Bradley basketball and spending time with friends and family including watching his sister Maggie report for NBC News. Mike is licensed to practice law in all Illinois courts, the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, which covers the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. Additionally, he was licensed pro hac vice to conduct a federal jury trial in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. He's a member of the Peoria County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
